This Out-of-Water Fish Gets W R E C K E D / Super Mario World / Ep. 3
Here is Episode 3 of beating Super Mario World (on the default setting), and my quest to beat all 717 officially released North American Super Nintendo (SNES) games. Welcome to Super Hardcade! In this episode, the journey through Super Mario World continues as I work toward unlocking all 96 exits while exploring Vanilla Dome, uncovering secret paths, searching for hidden exits, and revisiting one of the greatest platformers ever made. Along the way, I reflect on what made Super Mario World such a special game, from its incredible music and memorable level design to the sense of discovery that made the SNES era so magical. I also dive deeper into the origins of this challenge, sharing how my passion for Super Nintendo collecting led to the goal of owning, and eventually playing through, all 717 North American SNES releases. Rather than letting these games sit on a shelf, this series is my attempt to experience every title, from legendary classics and hidden gems to notoriously difficult games, sports titles, and some of the worst games ever released on the system. Whether you're a retro gaming enthusiast, a Nintendo fan, a video game collector, or someone who grew up with the Super Nintendo, this series is a celebration of one of gaming's greatest libraries. 🎮 Rules: • Beat all 717 North American SNES games • Play on the hardest difficulty whenever possible • Use default settings if no difficulty options exist • Complete each game according to reasonable completion standards • Document the entire journey from beginning to end Topics Covered in this Episode: • Super Mario World gameplay • Vanilla Dome and hidden exits • Secret routes and Star Road discussions • SNES collecting and game hunting • Nintendo nostalgia and childhood memories • Complete SNES collection goals • Hardest SNES games and hidden gems • Retro gaming preservation • Classic Nintendo platformers • Poor Fishes If you enjoy Super Nintendo games, retro gaming, Nintendo collecting, game hunting, challenge runs, video game history, hidden gems, or classic gaming content, subscribe and follow the journey as we attempt to conquer the entire North American SNES library. #SNES #SuperNintendo #SuperMarioWorld #RetroGaming #Nintendo #GameCollecting #SNESCollection #NintendoNostalgia #ClassicGaming #VideoGameCollector #RetroGames #GamingChallenge #HiddenGems #NintendoHistory #GameHunting
