Today is Poson Poya Day, and we are on an epic all-day mission to hunt down as many Dansals as possible. If you didn't know, a Dansala is a beautiful Sri Lankan tradition where locals set up stalls to give away free food, drinks, and desserts to anyone and everyone out of pure generosity. From morning until night, we cruised the streets in our tuk-tuk and found an incredible variety of different dansals. From steaming plates of traditional rice and curry to refreshing drinks, ice creams, and snacks—the variety was absolutely mind-blowing! Sri Lankan hospitality is truly unmatched.
