Crossing the border to Panama at Sixaloa - Puerto Viejo to Bocas Del Toro
I went with Caribe Shuttle and totally recommend them! You can do it cheaper using buses but you have to factor in getting to and from the bus stops… it was around $40 one way and included the boat to Bocas del Toro At the time I crossed I needed: To pay exit tax for Costa Rica (online) $8 USD for entry tax to Panama cash only $8 (max note accepted is $20 and in must be in very good condition) Proof of exit (a flight to your home country from Central America) Proof of accommodation in Panama
