British Nationals 1960s
Some 8mm film shot at the British Power National Championships for model aircraft between 1965 and 1968. The Dauntless (9'37" and 10'06") was another Dave Platt entry. It crashed on its maiden flight at the Nats of 1967, and was carried back as matchwood! He stayed up all night gluing it back together, and flew it successfully the next day, taking 6th place! I have incorrectly captioned Dennis Hammant's model at 11'48" as an "Altair". It was actually a "King Spectre", very similar to the "Altair".
