Smooth Electro Funk/Soul Beat with M-Wave SMK-37 Pro (FM synth) and Behringer RD-8
Sometimes I need some melodic sounds, so I decided to use my new M-Wave SMK-37 Pro, a MIDI keyboard I bought from Temu for less than €100. It features a built-in FM synthesizer inspired by the DX7 (or at least some kind of FM synth). I tried to recreate some 80s electro-funk/soul vibes using only the sounds from the M-Wave and the smooth, iconic drum sound of the Behringer RD-8 in a multi-track session. Enjoy!
