Islamabad to #Naran & #Jalkhad | Deosai Travel Series

#Naran is the most visited tourist place of Pakistan, indeed a very beautiful place with lot of places for tourism near the city of Naran and throughout #kaghan valley. The route from Islamabad to naran and babusar top is normally taken during June to September when glaciers have melted and road is free to move to even Gilgit Baltistan. It takes around 6 hrs from Islamabad to Naran if we bypass mansehra city via New #Balakot a route unknown to many tourists. The road gets worse a few km before kaghan bazar and worsens until we reach Naran. The worst condition of the road is due to construction of dam near Naran that is expected to be completed in coming years. Naran gets crowdy during summer so we just bypassed Naran and went straight to jalkhad for an overnight stay. Got a room just for 2000 rupees in a road side hotel and had a good evening there before we left for Astore the next morning.
