His original thought was to set up a stationery store requiring minimal capital, but given his interest in food, he began experimenting with all sorts of snacks and condiments and soon hit upon combinations of chaat. Thus was born Harshini Condiments in a tiny bylane of Ravindra Nagar in Shimoga. The fare here is chaat but in a healthier avatar. Think ingredients like fresh fenugreek, banana stem, cabbage, pomegranate, corn, et al tossed together with savoury elements of crunch and punchy homemade chutneys. Creations that are not only wholesome but also hit home in the flavour department. A must try for street food lovers when in Shimoga! Happy eating!
