[6:01] Making the connected miniskeins Final weights of the 3 connected minis: 16 grams, 30 g, 58 g [14:10] The colorway plan [15:57] Mixing the dyes 1% stock solutions of electric violet and Caribbean blue from dharma acid dyes In each cup - 1/4 cup water + 4 mL 1% stock of Caribbean Blue Recipe 1 (100 g yarn) - 100 mL purple Recipe 2 (60 g yarn) - 30 mL purple Recipe 3 (28 g yarn) - 6.75 mL purple Recipe 4 (16 g yarn) - 0.2 mL purple These are the final recipes. [20:56] Dyeing the smallest two minis 16 cups of water with no acid add all of Recipe 3 to one pot, and about half of recipe 4 to another. Add the yarn, then 4 T white vinegar to each pot Move the yarn between the minis back and forth between the pots wait 45 minutes to finish heating the yarn - most color had absorbed [27:24] Dyeing the biggest two skeins [31:26] Yarn mop!
