We can say that The Barcelona Zoo combines with a Botanical Garden, meeting a diverse Mediterranean vegetation where people have created a natural habitat for animals, the multi-coloured peacocks walk freely in the alleys of the garden among the visitors, the Spider monkeys stretching in the sun, Chapman's zebra, Red Cangaroo, Aldabra Giant Tortoise, Endangered White Rhinoceros, Old African Elephant, Common Hippopotamus, Beautiful Rothschild's Giraffe, Brown Bear, Guanaco, Humboldt Penguin, Meerkat, Californian Sea Lion, Bornean orangutan, Chimpanzee, Charming Chilean flamingo, Greater flamingo and American Flamingo, Iberian wolf, Mhorr gazelle, Black-faced impala, Black-tailed prairie dog, Sumatran tiger, Bottle-nosed dolphin, Komodo Dragon, Black vulture and many other species of mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles and even urban species who found their home in the Barcelona Zoo.
