Japan Scenic Drive 4K | Driving to Volcano in Front of City, Ebino to Sakurajima, Kagoshima

This drive takes you from Ebino Parking on Kyushu EXPWY in Miyazaki Prefecture to Sakurajima in Kagoshima Prefecture. Sakurajima is located right in front of Central Kagoshima over the Kagoshima Bay, and is one of the most active volcanoes in Japan. It erupts hundreds of times every year. It was once an island before lava from the 1914 eruption breached the strait separating Sakurajima from the Okusu Peninsula. Sakurajima Ferry to cross Kagoshima Bay, which operates every 10-15 minutes, 24 hours a day. This short ferry ride offers a stunning view of Mt. Sakurajima.
