Saw Mark & Al's previous band Shorty's first and final shows as a teenager. Witnessed Shorty break-up on stage with the drummer throwing his sticks and leaving the stage(not his fault they were trying out a new bassist that had difficult shoes to fill in who knows what amount of time). These guys were kind enough to invite me to their first show ever in Minnesota as U.S. MAPLE at Carleton College. Brought a friend and we were the only two people there to see them besides the opening act. Lost track of how many times I saw them perform and hope that there will be a reunion some day.
