Leslieville: Toronto's Most Charming Neighbourhood | Walking Toronto

Some of Toronto's best brunch spots, vintage furniture stores and cool bars make the east end neighbourhood of Leslieville a must-visit destination. This walk starts at Leslie street and continues all the way to Broadview Avenue. I pause at one point outside Anvil Jewellery to admire a mural by Al Runt. Runt's work used to be all over Toronto in the 90s, including the iconic covering of Lee's Palace (now just a shadow of what it was). At the end of the walk check the beautiful Broadview Hotel, once a dive hotel and the home of the strip club, Jilly's and now transformed into a boutique hotel.
