In the approximately 50 square meter rice paddy within the farm, elementary school students have been growing rice every year since 2013, with the aim of deepening their understanding of agriculture and their interest in local production and consumption. On the 5th, 170 fifth-grade students from Totsuka Elementary School planted seedlings of "Harumi," a rice variety grown in Kanagawa Prefecture, under the guidance of local farmers and ward officials.
