Space Warfare in Frank Herbert's DUNE - How does it happen?

Across the many many Science fiction stories and works, especially those that focus on interstellar travel and vast human empires that rule the stars, space battles which includes voidships and massive warships are kind of a given. Be it Star wars, Star trek, 40K, Babylon 5 and etc etc, these stories are always shaped by awesome space battles between spacecrafts from opposing factions. But, there is one universe, where even with a massive interstellar domain and also warships at their disposal, there is hardly any space warfare at all. This is Dune, an anomaly of sci-fi which still somehow became one of the most famous works ever. So, why are there no massive space battles in Dune? Or are there? and we don’t know about them? So, here in this video we will explore in depth about this and explain why void warfare is seldom seen here in this setting. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ FAIR-USE COPYRIGHT DISCLAIMER * Copyright Disclaimer under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, commenting, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.
