PROGRAMME 12 and 13, October, 2024, firing of musketry and drumming. 14th October, 2024. Monday Fasting starts 6:p.m.: Formal start of the funeral celebrations. EVENING: Wake keeping. fring of musketry and drumming all night. Traditional Wailing- Ayinan. 15th October, 2024, Tuesday, Waling continues. Firing of musketry and Drumming. Kumawuhene will sit in state to receive sympathies and donation after distribution of drinks. 16th October, 2024, Wednesday - fring of musketry and Drumming. Kumawuhene will sit in state to' receive sympathies etc. Barima's wife will console him by presenting him with the traditional gold necklace (Awisiado). 17th October, 2024, Thursday - Barima Sarfo Tweneboa Koduá and Chiets of Kumawu Traditional Area will fire musketry from 7 am to 3 pm after which Barima wil sit in state at Funeral Grounds to distribute drinks receive sympathies and donation. They will arrive at the firing site in order of procession of Nananom. Wives of Princes of late Kumawuhene wil present customary burial articies (Adosoa and Fatuo) 18th October, 2024, Friday firing of musketry in the following order by the Aduana Clan family chiefs. Tikrom, Atwea, Abodom, Apromase, Jachie, Kwaso, Abira. Bipoa, Manso- Abodom, Boaman, Manso Mim, Basa. 19th October, 2024, Saturday- Cimax of the Funeral Celebrations. Firing of musketry and Drumming in the following order Aduana Paramount Chiefs): Akwamu. Essumeja, Denyase, Agogo, Kwamang and Bompata. Kumawumanhene will sit in state to distribute drinks and receive sympathies and donation etc. Exhibition of customary burial articles (Adosoa and tutuo).
