Neon Shed Communications Advent Tip #6 Understanding personalities It’s important to understand the different personality types to recognise how people work, engage and communicate. It’s also a fun way to get along with difficult people and have more successful communication. There are many personality tests and profiles you can do, the one I love and provide training on is Florence Littauer's Personality Plus, which originated from Hippocrates in 400 BC. There are 4 temperaments of human behaviour and they are: Sanguine, Choleric, Melancholy and Phlegmatic. Over the next 4 days I’ll give you an overview of each personality style to help you better understand and communicate with people at work, at home and with friends.
