This is a short life story of Late Agat A. Sangma of Selbalgre village in West Garo Hills District of Meghalaya state in India. Late Agat A. Sangma was a poor villager but his relentless desire to keep the tradition and culture of the Garo tribals and his expertise in traditional musical instruments of the Garos made him the one and only recipient of Sangeet Natak Akademi Award among the Garos in the year 2001. He was one of the most talented woodcarvers and traditional musical instrument makers in Garo Hills. This short film is dedicated to Late Agat A. Sangma and his family.
