Van cinco detenidos por masacre de 10 personas en Zacatecas

Zacatecas, Zacatecas – The Secretary General of the Government, Rodrigo Reyes Mugüerza, and the Secretary of Public Security, General Arturo Medina Mayoral, provided an update on the results of Operation "Rastrillo," implemented following the violent events of last Saturday in which ten people lost their lives. Rodrigo Reyes detailed that, since the start of the operation, five arrests have been made, including three people—two men and one woman—apprehended today in the municipality of Guadalupe, who are allegedly linked to the kidnapping of the victims. He also reported on various searches and seizures in the municipalities of Pánuco, Vetagrande, Fresnillo, and the state capital. General Medina Mayoral further explained that the operation continues to progress in coordination with the Army and the National Guard. The Secretary General of the Government mentioned that the State Attorney General's Office is maintaining active lines of investigation into a possible collusion of public officials and extortion, the results of which will be announced by the prosecutor in the coming days.
