That's why Performing Arts at Catcote plays such an important role in giving the children a voice, but funding for these kind of lessons is virtually non-existent as the school is based in one of the most deprived areas in the UK. So the school have taken matters into their own hands and created 'LipDub' videos, which have now gone viral, in order to raise money for performing arts projects at the school. Singing along to Katy Perry's 'Roar' and hits from ‘The Greatest Showman’, the children's videos have so far raised around £1400 of their £5000 target. Dr Ranj joins us today live from the school where he'll be meeting some of the teachers, parents and pupils who have masterminded the project.
