Before the roses begin to fade and the dahlias take centre stage, July is one of the loveliest times to visit Pashley Manor Gardens. Join me for a peaceful summer stroll through Pashley Manor Gardens in the heart of the East Sussex countryside, captured in beautiful 4K with nothing but the natural sounds of the garden. Our walk begins at the Tudor timber-framed house, where climbing roses soften the ancient walls, hydrangeas are in full bloom, and bees emerge from tiny holes in the weathered timbers.  From there we wander through the traditional rose garden, its fragrant blooms beautifully framed by clouds of hydrangeas, before exploring the productive kitchen garden, where sweet peas, companion planting and abundant summer vegetables are thriving. Next, we visit the swimming pool garden, filled with rambling roses, butterfly-loving buddleia and the season's first dahlias, before finishing at the elegant Georgian façade of the house. Here, the mixed herbaceous borders are bursting with colour, the wisteria is enjoying a welcome second flush, and there's just enough time to pause on the terrace for tea and cake.
