The interview that you will inevitably face before acceptance into Anesthesiologist Assistant School is one of the scariest parts of the application cycle. Many students go in blind, and risk their entire future when in reality, with some preparation, they could knock it out of the park. This video goes over some of the most popular interview questions, specifically for anesthesia school, that you should be ready for. My name is Jesse Hayward and I am on my way to become a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA). I am currently working as an Anesthesia Tech in Colorado, and plan to pursue a Master's in Anesthesia to become a CAA. In this video, I go over 10 of the most common interview questions that you might encounter on interview day, and how I would go about answering them. CAA's are "highly skilled health professionals who work under the direction of licensed anesthesiologists to implement anesthesia care plans" as defined by the AAAA. Although the CAA profession is rapidly growing, it is still relatively unknown, and I plan to use this channel to spread the word and introduce as many prospective students as possible to this amazing career.
