How to Design and Laser Cut a Light Base for Edge-lit Acrylic

In this episode I incorporate the RocketLife lights I reviewed in my last episode into a multi-layer light base for edge-lit acrylic. I show how I designed a custom base around the dimensions of the RocketLife lights and the six layer landscape acrylic image I will be putting into it. I cut the parts on a laser cutter and cut and solder my LED strips to fit into the base. I show with a simple demo lighting program the potential of the multi-layer base.
