The Best Airborne Company Ever!!! From 1962 to 1968, the Panama-based 3/508th Infantry served as an Airborne Battalion within the 193rd Infantry Brigade in Panama. When the Airborne component of the battalion was reduced to ONE Airborne company (A Co., -MOATENGATORS) in 1968, the battalion was reflagged as the 3/5th and later in 1983, as the 2/187th. Jump status was later expanded to the entire battalion. In 1987, they were reflagged as the 1/508th. ALPHA COMPANY 3/508th Inf 3/5th Inf 2/187th Inf 1/508th Inf Dedicated to all my airborne Brothers!
