Captured on real hardware. 2. This was also known as Sonic Chaos and Knuckles Ringstar at various points in development. 3. Sega brought back team Chaotix for a few of Sonic's games like Sonic Heroes. Some of the characters were also in future releases like Sonic Mania. 4. There's also a literal weight and bomb you can stuck with as partners. 5. This retailed for $60-$70 at retail upon its original release. 6. Without any real in-game story, cinematics, voice work, or other presentation enhancements, it still felt like a 16-bit title. 7. Games like this really hurt the 32X in the eyes of the gaming public at the time. Everything had gone polygon and its all anyone in the US and Europe wanted to talk about. To have something that looks and played so decidedly 16-bit, basically had a giant "DON'T BUY ME" label on it.
