Episode summary: Rome, 5th century AC. The empire slowly loses its shine. The powerful Sallustius, contested by the senators, thinks he can shine once more with a strategy to keep Britain occupied. Meanwhile, in the urban militia, Arturus and Manilius, two ordinary young soldiers are mostly thinking about finding food and escaping their barracks. 5th century AC. England is still called Britain.
