Cerkwie, natura i smak – Beskid Niski kamperem Krempna & Kotań

Welcome to another episode of our camper van journey! This time, we’re exploring the Low Beskids by camper to discover its hidden gems: vast natural landscapes, impressive wooden landmarks, and the richness of Lemko culture. We begin our journey in Krempna, visiting the Museum and Educational Center in Krempna. Here, you’ll learn more about the Magura National Park: exhibitions showcase both the wild nature of the Low Beskids and the centuries-old traditions of the region. Next on our route is the church in Krempna, which now serves as a Roman Catholic church. It’s a fascinating example of sacral architecture, where traces of original furnishings can still be found. Besides the historical attractions, the area also offers cozy eateries with regional Low Beskids cuisine – simple yet always delicious dishes that invite you to savor the local flavors. After a day full of exploration, we search for a place to stay overnight. A great option is Wrzosowa Polana, a free parking area near Krempna. This green haven, surrounded by forest, is a convenient stop for all camper travel enthusiasts – especially if you value peace and a close connection to nature. In the morning, well-rested and ready for new adventures, we head to the church in Kotań – a solitary shrine many consider one of the most beautiful churches in the Low Beskids. Its wooden structure and interior design reflect Lemko traditions, showcasing how faith and art have intertwined in the history of the surrounding villages. If you’re looking for inspiration for a weekend in the mountains, enjoy peaceful relaxation, and want to discover fascinating spots in the Low Beskids, we warmly invite you to watch our vlog.
