Say Yes - Elliott Smith Guitar Lesson

In this tutorial I teach how to play Say Yes by Elliott Smith. This is another favorite of mine off of his Either/Or album, and this one was also featured prominently on the Good Will Hunting soundtrack. I'll dive into the details of chords, tabs, strumming patterns, picking and more. There are multiple guitars on the album version of this song - I'll be covering the main guitar part here, which is what Elliott Smith would play in live performances as well. Most of this song is pretty beginner friendly... I go over details thoroughly in the hopes that less advance players can learn it. There is one instrumental verse that is more challenging to play, where the melody is played while the bass line continues at the same time... really fun once you get it down.
