But is Sisters Oregon better than Bend Oregon? If you are planning a trip to Sisters Oregon there are a lot of great activities to do in this small town. Sisters Oregon also has a lot of dispersed camping on National Forest land. Central Oregon is a beautiful place to visit and there's a lot of hiking, biking, and exploring to be had in the Deschutes National Forest. Overlanding in central Oregon is a popular activity as well, but on this trip, we keep it simple and do day trips out of our travel trailer. We start with a hike and drive to Skylight cave near Sisters Oregon. Then head to "The Barn In Sisters" an epic tap house and food truck court. The following day we hike Black Butte Fire Lookout and then go back to Downtown Sisters. On our final day, we do some hiking and biking on the Peterson trail system.
