The cat Donbas and the dog Duke were born in the Donetsk region. Both became the pets and companions of the serviceman Taras Turkovsky. When the cat was seriously injured, Taras did not leave him, found a clinic in Kramatorsk, and took him out after the operation. Later, thanks to volunteers, he was able to transport him to the Ternopil region to his parents. He also sent the dog Duke to his parents' house. Now the animals live in the village of Plebanivka.
