Back out over the sea with the DJI Neo 2 drone… but this time I went ALL IN to answer your comments! After my last test, many of you said: 👉 “Charge the battery properly and see if it goes further!” So that’s exactly what I did… I brought along my AFERIY AF-180 portable power station to make sure the battery was FULLY charged before take-off. To give the Neo 2 the best chance: ✔️ Removed the top prop guards (lighter setup) ✔️ Early morning flight (no wind… but sea mist!) ✔️ Full send over open water 🌊 🚀 Result? The Neo 2 made it to 5,000ft / 1,798m before triggering LOW BATTERY RTH! But… it wasn’t that simple 👀 ⚠️ Low satellite warnings mid-flight 🐦 Seagulls getting VERY interested 🔋 Issues with “fully charged” batteries (you’ll see what happened!)
