Supernatural: if the situation was reversed ; Waiting Between Worlds (Zack Hemsey) -- Sam and Dean

ALL CLIPS BELONG TO THE CW. The song Waiting Between Worlds is by/belongs to Zack Hemsey. So, this is a long vid. The idea behind it was the simple line, "If the situation was reversed...". I wanted to show the roles and feelings each brother has had throughout the series. Sam, the role of little brother, freak, always being different. Dean, the role of father, protector, always being responsible. If Sam was the one that needed to be trusted, needed to be responsible, would Dean trust him? If Dean was the one that was different, was the "freak", would Sam protect him? At first, the answer was no -- Dean couldn't trust Sam with the trials, and Sam said he wouldn't save Dean's life if it was against the greater good. But, Sam DID save Dean at the end of s10, despite cosmic consequences. And, more recently, in 12x22 Dean trusted Sam to lead hunters by himself. He let go. While both of those events are important, I didn't show either in this edit because I was more interested in showing the, well, crap they've been through while trying to hold up these outgrown roles. It just doesn't work for either of them anymore. Sam's grown up. Dean needs to have his own life. But, my god, the most horrible thing that John ever did to Dean was to tell him right before he died that he might have to kill Sam. Role wise, that's like saying, oh, btw, you might have to kill your pseudo-son that I made you raise. Adiós. Anyway, despite being super long, I hope you all enjoy this edit! It's, what, like less than 6 weeks until the spn season 13 premiere? Yay!
