You are not bound to this app. The login credentials also work in other SIP apps, IP phones, or routers. The app is just a suggestion. Setup works just like a regular phone. As long as the app remains open in the background and is not closed, you can receive calls. Make sure notifications are enabled, otherwise calls will not be forwarded. Calls are only forwarded on weekdays from Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. (excluding German public holidays). Outside of these hours, calls will not be forwarded. So you don't have to worry about your phone suddenly ringing at night. There may be times when no calls are received, as they are distributed among all participants.
