19th Avenue Railroad Crossing, Nashville, TN

originally recorded on 12-21-22 Signal on the left: 2 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with Leotek EV Series LEDs, a US&S Teardrop bell, a Siemens gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights. Signal on the right: 3 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, a WCH mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights. After catching the local freight, Ethan and I went over to 19th Avenue to wait for a southbound, since I figured there'd be one leaving Nashville around 10 AM. I also wanted to get another recording of the Teardrop bell here, since I hadn't heard any (other than my own) operating since June. Thankfully, I was correct, and after a little bit of waiting, this 4,300-foot CSX M531 came came west (timetable south) through the crossing with a YN3 ES40DC leading a YN2 Dash-9 and a YN3 GP40-2 for power. Apologies for the slant in this video, BTW. As you can see, thankfully nothing has changed to this crossing either since I last recorded it. Both mechanical bells are still here and still sound very healthy, which is rather nice to see. Especially for the Teardrop bell, given that it's the closest one to me. I decided to record on the side with the WCH cantilever here this time around, since I hadn't recorded this side of the crossing before and the lighting was on this side as well. Ethan recorded from the typical angle people here get though. http://www.rxrsignals.com/Tennessee/G... If you like my videos, feel free to leave me a tip on Ko-Fi!
