Concussion/mTBI - Dealing with vision changes: Bi-Nasal Occlusion
Blurred vision, light sensitivity, difficulty with reading and/or navigating busy environments are all common complaints of people living with persistent symptoms following a brain injury. Your optometrist may find nothing to be wrong with your eyes, but it is in fact the way in which the brain processes what you see that has changed. Using cloudy tape and your own glasses or a pair from the dollar store with the lenses popped out you can use bi-nasal occlusion to improve your visual processing.
