The world had barely recovered from a horrific attack off the coast of Oman when another vessel was struck. Another commercial ship—named 'MT Jalveer'—has been attacked near Oman's Shinas Port. The 'MT Jalveer' is currently ablaze in the middle of the sea, with plumes of black smoke billowing into the sky; most concerning of all is the fact that Indian crew members are on board. A total of 24 Indian sailors were aboard the oil tanker 'MT Settebello' when US naval forces launched a major attack on the vessel. Chaos ensued following the strike. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and rescue teams immediately stepped in, and through swift, prudent action, 21 of the 24 Indian nationals were successfully rescued.
