Madeleine McGraw and Kyle Perritt talk about the Short Horror Film "Robbie Ain't Right No More" "Robbie Ain't Right No More," a genre bending take on PTSD starring Madeleine McGraw. The gripping new short horror film comes from the mind of former Marine turned filmmaker Kyle Perritt which is slated to make the festival rounds this fall ahead of its December 1, 2023 release. The film follows Sarah (Madeleine McGraw - -THE BLACK PHONE) who was incredibly close with her older brother Robbie (Jadon Cal - LAST OF THE GRADS) before he went off to war. But now he's cold and distant. He does not seem quite right anymore. When Sarah refuses to let him slip away, she finds out he brought something horrific home with him. Director's Statement: Returning to civilian life after two tours of duty as a Marine infantryman can be a downright bizarre experience, and can sometimes be difficult to put into words. Two weeks ago you were sifting through some dirt with a farming sickle in hopes to find another bomb in the ground. Today your eyes are glazing over as you pretend to listen to your idiot brother in-law talk about his amazing fantasy football lineup. I've always seen the humor in that and wanted to go there with a character and his family. But I've wanted to visit the darker parts of that experience as well, and explore what happens to a family when a kid goes off to war in a place whose name they can't even pronounce, fights for reasons they'll never understand, and comes back to share their horrific wounds and inescapable demons. Director's Bio: Kyle Perritt is a former U.S. Marine turned filmmaker. After finishing his four year enlistment in 2011, he returned home and found his passion in the film industry. He has since worked across departments as a technician and has written, produced, and directed several short films. His most recent works include the horror comedy "Cupcake", and "Robbie Ain't Right No More" - a genre bending take on PTSD starring Madeleine McGraw.
