Aller retour St-jeannet classique

"Shall we fly together tomorrow? -Okay!! Shall we try a round trip from St. Jeannet to Montauroux? - But I've never flown St. Jeannet! - Well, we'll do St. Jeannet tomorrow :) and see what happens... The forecast is pretty good with westerly winds around midday, but we're sticking with the classic Gourdon: St. Jeannet route. Taking it easy to save energy for the return, flying your first St. Jeannet is a bit of a drain on your reserves because the site isn't always welcoming, especially with a return facing west. So we're preserving the peace and quiet before thinking about the score (which we don't really care about...). A small group of about 5 pilots crossed paths, including Olivier and Thomas, who's been practicing the site with his Sub. He's going to demonstrate his knowledge of the lines :) ... straight lines. Return to La Sarrée (Kennedy), and the westerly wind there makes it difficult to fly over, so we're returning via the upper section, but up there, it's completely downwind. West on the Roman road. Thomas, Olivier, and I were thrilled. Well done to Olivier for ticking off the La Gaude box (round trip), and well done to Thomas for picking flowers in St-Jeannet :) while flying low :) but a great climb. The Zeno 2 wasn't loaded enough, so the wingtips were a bit fragile, but the lightness was still as comfortable as ever for this style of flying. I loved the conditions :)
