🇬🇧 In Volhynia, the earth is once again revealing evidence of the genocide perpetrated against Poles. In the now-defunct Wola Ostrowiecka, researchers have uncovered the remains of at least 38 people—men, women, and children—thrown without coffins into a common pit. 🕯️ Crosses, medallions, rosaries, buttons, buckles, and fragments of clothing were found with the remains. The bones show signs of severe mechanical trauma. These people did not die naturally. They were murdered. ⚰️ Wola Ostrowiecka and neighboring Ostrówki were attacked on August 30, 1943. Poles were lured by trickery, separated from women and children, murdered on farms, burned in buildings, and thrown into death pits. 🇬🇧 I'm talking about who is truly responsible for the Volhynia Massacre: the OUN-B, the UPA, their commanders, local units, and some local perpetrators.
