Venice in Watercolour - Gondolas One - Part One

In the first of a four part series, professional artist Joe Dowden paints a beautiful scene of Venetian Gondolas in watercolour. Joe begins by showing you how to mask off the important areas you need to keep white before laying down a wash for the sky and the water below. Watch as Joe adds in a distant skyline before moving onto the Gondolas, breaking them down into easy to follow shapes while explaining how to use dark tones to define the lighter areas.
