Thanks for being here 🤎 Here's the recipe for the rolls: ✨ Ingredients ✨ 🍞 Dough Warm milk: 240 g Active dry yeast (1 packet): 7 g Eggs (2): approx. 100 g (without peel) Melted butter: 75 g Granulated sugar: 100 g Salt: 5 g Strong flour (bread flour): 420–480 g ✨ During baking Heavy cream / whipping cream: 120 g 🤎 Filling Compressed brown sugar: 220 g Ground cinnamon: 16 g Nutmeg: 1 g Softened butter: 75 g 🧁 Frosting Icing sugar: 180 g Cream cheese: 113 g Melted butter: 57 g Vanilla extract: 5 g Milk: 30–60 g Pinch of salt: approx. 0.5 g ✨ Preparation ✨ 🍞 Dough: In a measuring cup, mix the warm milk, two tablespoons of the sugar, and the yeast. Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes until the yeast is foamy. Add the remaining sugar, salt, butter, and eggs. Mix well and transfer to a stand mixer fitted with a dough hook. Gradually add the flour. When the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl, transfer it to a floured surface and knead until smooth and slightly sticky, but not wet. If it's still too sticky, add a little more flour. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a towel, and let it rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour. 🤎 Filling: In a bowl, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Set aside. ✨ Assembly: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out the dough into a large rectangle. Spread with butter and sprinkle evenly with the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Carefully roll up the dough into a log. Cut the rolls into approximately 1 1/2-inch thick slices using dental floss or a serrated knife. Place the rolls in a greased pan, cover, and let rise again until doubled in size, about 40 minutes. ✨ Tip: Place them near the warm oven to speed up the rising process. 🧁 Frosting: In a bowl, mix the powdered sugar, melted butter, cream cheese, vanilla, salt, and milk until smooth. Add more milk if you prefer a thinner frosting. 🔥 Baking: Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and spoon several tablespoons of heavy cream over each roll. Return to the oven and bake until golden brown on top, about 20 minutes more. Once ready, add the glaze to the warm rolls and enjoy 🤍 ❄️ Store the rolls in the refrigerator when not serving, as the glaze contains dairy.
