We photographed savory snacks for the first time, and this job was our studio's first paid work. Photographing savory snacks was another challenge we faced, but it was a challenge that gave us more confidence to continue with our project, which is Fast Foto Delivery. We got a sensational lens to do this work, the famous Canon 100mm macro. I wish every photographer had a lens like this, especially beginner photographers. It may not be the best lens in the world, but for someone who only had a 50mm and a 24mm, it was a great evolution for this segment of food photography. The sharpness of this lens is sensational; it makes you want to keep photographing insects, haha. The client for this product required photos that would make the end customer's mouth water when looking at the product, but also convey the comfort of our homes. We believe we achieved the final result. This client ended up hiring additional photos beyond what was agreed upon, so they added extra photos. The great advantage of photographing savory snacks was that we were able to understand a little more about light and composition. Of course, to understand better, just watch the video. The 100mm Macro is a lens that we will always have in our equipment kit because it makes all the difference in the result, but in the same way that we photographed savory snacks with the 100mm 2.8 macro, you can photograph with any lens or equipment. What we always say is that what matters is your creativity and common sense, regardless of the photography niche. A tip we leave from this video is to pay attention to the time it will take to photograph the product. I say this because, in the case of savory snacks, after frying them you will have little time to work with them; the appearance of the snack has to be hot and crispy.
