New Folkcraft Dulcimer - First Prototype February 6 2024

Here's our "first draft" of a new dulcimer. Unlacquered, unsanded, kind of homely. But a HUGE SOUND, which was our goal for this prototype. This is almost a guitar, internally (classic X bracing), but has a diatonic dulcimer fretboard. Tuning here is DAD. Enjoy!
