Starting My New Canadian Nightcrawler Bin Part 1 #wormfarm

This is a two part video. First, in this video I bring you along and show you how I put this bin together. I used snow, shredded paper, shredded packing paper, a cardboard box, potting soil, leaves, strips of paper, pita bread, persimmons, sauerkraut, my dry mix and more. In part two, I add the worms. Stay tuned! #canadiannightcrawlers This is my first time raising CNC, Canadian Nightcrawlers, Lumbricus terrestris. I'm excited and a little intimidated because I've heard they can be difficult to raise. They're not composting worms in the way we understand composting worms. And they prefer cooler temperatures. Really they also require a deeper bin because they naturally burrow vertically. So, we'll see! Here's the playlist for my Canadian Nightcrawlers if you'd like to see more.    • Canadian Nightcrawlers   Thank you so much for your time and interest. Be safe. Be well.
