Loredana Groza, Rasismul și Aproprierea Culturală: România vs. SUA

In this anniversary video, I draw a parallel between racism in the United States and discrimination against Roma in Romania, starting from the way minorities are portrayed in the media and cinema. I analyze the impact of the film "Birth of a Nation" on American society, explain how it contributed to the rebirth of the Ku Klux Klan, and compare it with the way Roma were and are represented in Romanian television and culture. I discuss the stereotypes perpetuated by local TV productions, the phenomenon of blackface and cultural rapprochement, the recent scandal with Loredana Groza, and of course the soap operas of the 2000s. I emphasize the importance of authentic representation of minorities and the role we have, as audiences and creators, in combating racism and extremism. LMA to everyone, except America, kisses and pleasant viewing. links: https://rm.coe.int/sosirea-in-europa-... https://iscoada.com/text/romii-nu-sun... 💸Join the channel if you want to support me or use the revolut link https://www.revolut.me/akvanart 🎵 Outro music composed by Victor Natas: 👉 [Victor’s Crypt](   / @victorscrypt  ) 📲 *Follow me on social networks:* 📸 Instagram: 👉 [@akvanart](  / akvanart  ) 👉 [@dubla.69](  / dubla.69  ) 🎵 TikTok: 👉 [@dubla666](  / dubla666  ) 👉 [@dubla.69](  / dubla.69  ) 🧭Chapters🧭 📌 00:00 Introduction 📌 00:35 Why Hollywood is a joke 📌 01:10 Racism in America: Blackface Culture (film and stage) 📌 02:56 Parallel of Racism: America vs Romania 📌 05:40 Racism in the Romanian Media 📌 07:08 Loredana Groza and the exploitation of Roma culture 📌 14:52 Birth of a Nation, the film that fueled extremism 📌 19:11 Conclusion
