Satu2nya - Penunggu Makam Pathak Warak di Pulau Mandalika Jepara

The One and Only - The Guardian of Mandalika Island & the Tomb of Pathak Warak. We, along with a group from Ngobar Maling (Ngobar Maling, or "Coffee Together Fishing Around"), a fishing community in Pati Regency, had the opportunity to go fishing together on Mondoliko/Mandalika Island, specifically the island north of the Portuguese fort. Administratively, the island is part of Jepara Regency. The island holds a rich history, from the tomb of Adi Patik Warak to meeting the island's sole inhabitant, the lighthouse keeper. The One and Only - The Guardian of the Tomb of Pathak Warak on Mandalika Island, Jepara Mandalika is a small island in the Java Sea, precisely off the north coast of Central Java. The island is approximately 2 kilometers from the Portuguese Fort located off the coast of Ujungwatu Village. The island can only be reached by motorized fishing boat and takes about 30 minutes. Most people come to the island to fish. The island is reportedly home to one person who is the lighthouse keeper. This lighthouse was built in 1897 for maritime security purposes, along with four other buildings to support its operation. The island is managed by the Jepara Transportation Agency, while its waters are managed by the Jepara Regency Government. Developing Myths During the colonial period, Mandalika Island was used as a reconnaissance point by the Portuguese. The Portuguese footprint on Mandalika Island has not completely disappeared, and has even become a myth. Budayajawa.id writes that locals believe that Mandalika Island houses the gate to the Lawang Siluman Palace. If a visitor with fair skin and a Portuguese appearance passes through this gate, they are guaranteed to never return and disappear as if swallowed by the earth. It is said that the invisible gate to the kingdom is a whirlpool located in the strait between the Portuguese Fort and Mandalika Island, Millens. Despite the myths, Mandalika Island retains its natural charm. Spending a vacation there feels truly peaceful, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. One thing you need to remember: when visiting, maintain polite behavior and speech. Respect the local beliefs and customs, okay? Accessing Mandalika Island For visitors to reach Mandalika Beach, there's only one way: by renting a boat from the Kartini coastline to Karimunjawa Island. The boat will pass between Mandalika Island and the Portuguese castle. Or, visitors can rent an outboard motor from the locals around the Portuguese fort to cross to Mandalika Island. Culinary Delights on Mandalika Island On Mandalika Island, there's a jackfruit tree called the nangka nangka tree. This jackfruit is different from most jackfruits. The fruit on Mandalika Island grows at the bottom of the tree, visible from the ground. This is why it's called the nangka nangka tree, and the nangka nangka tree is a distinctive feature of Mandalika Island. Nearest Hotels on Mandalika Island As with other small islands, such as Panjang Island, Mandalika Island does not have any hotels or accommodations. If visitors wish to stay overnight, they can return to the Portuguese Fort area and find accommodations near the fort, as the area is more crowded. Mandalika is a very pristine and clean island. Beautiful white sand, fresh, pollution-free air, and a gentle breeze around the island captivate tourists. It's no wonder Mandalika Island's enchanting beauty makes visitors linger. This island boasts a lighthouse, unlike most islands. The lighthouse facilitates navigation for fishermen at sea. The stark contrast to the metropolitan city draws tourists from various regions. Visitors will see the signature plant of Mandalika Island, the "Nongko Celeng." This fruit is unique because its fruit clings to the tree roots, seemingly emerging from the ground. Furthermore, if you trek into the forest, you'll find the tomb of a saint named Sayid Ustman, who was the Minister of Queen Kalinyamat.
