Haymaking Before the Storm & Catching a Wild Bee Swarm! Ukrainian Country Life

Welcome to a new day of my Ukrainian country life! 🌾✨ Today is an incredibly busy and exciting day on our homestead. First, I borrow my brother's heavy two-wheeled tractor to mow the tall grass for our goats, but the overgrown alfalfa and clover prove to be a real challenge for the mower. After trying a brush cutter and calling in the family team for help, we manage to get the haymaking in full swing just before a massive summer thunderstorm rolls in! But the adventure doesn't end there. After the rain, I go to check my homemade bee-trap boxes, and we have a surprise — a wild bee swarm! Watch as my experienced father-in-law helps us safely hive the bees into their new home. To wrap up the day, we do some evening garden weeding and cook delicious, traditional sweet cherry dumplings (Varenyky) with my son. Thank you for watching, subscribing, and sharing our journey!
