TR DIRECTOR'S CUT and story: ERIC DRESSEN from Santa Cruz Skateboards "SPEED FREAKS" SPEED WHEELS
Director Tony Roberts takes us through the making of Eric Dressen's iconic Speed Freaks part for Santa Cruz Speed Wheels. This was Eric's first video part, which is remarkable as he was rated #1 in the world in street 1987/88. This video marked the beginning of street skating and the way it would forever be filmed. TRs' P.O.V. follow angles of lines, cross over angles as well as a number of camera and editing techniques were innovated here and would become standard for all skate videos going forward. . What surprised you about this part? Let me know in the comments! . If you want me to do more directors cuts from any of my hundreds of video parts I made let me know who's and what video! .
