This hike was one of the most memorable experiences for us, the Narapati Family, as we explored Mount Prau via Patak Banteng with our children. The journey began at the Patak Banteng basecamp, known for its challenging yet quickest access to the summit. Along the way, we traversed a steadily ascending dirt path, experienced the cool mountain air, and even experienced moments of fog that added to the dramatic atmosphere. We spent the night at Sunrise Camp (2,565 meters above sea level) — one of the best spots to enjoy the natural beauty of Mount Prau.
