The Real Reason Your Lemons Have Thick Skin

I forgot to mention in the video that inconsistent watering can also cause hard lemons. I assumed all the rain we'd had was keeping the soil moist enough, but because this tree is growing in a raised garden bed, it drains much faster than I realised. Lesson learnt... next time I'll be checking the soil moisture before assuming it's had enough water!
