VW Passat R-Line, Genting Drive - Highly Agile, Sporty D-Segment Sedan Delivers Great Fu

The latest VW D-segment Passat has adopted the 190 PS, 320Nm engine option for the Passat and Arteon in Malaysia. We have taken the VW Arteon up to Genting with the Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) CEO, Erik Winter riding shotgun, and found it to be excellent fun. Now we take the Passat R-Line up to Genting again, to check it out on our yardstick test route. For this run, the road the road was quite clear, with relatively little traffic, and it was dry too. The Passat R-Line achieved a highly respectable time for the run. The larger 19 - inch wheels, a very good suspension setup on an excellent platform all contribute to make an excellent package that you can go to work in during the week. As always, we never went all out, keeping some in reserve for the sake of safety - Stay safe, and happy motoring everybody.
